Nil Karaibrahimgil is a Turkish female artist born in 1976. Nil Karaibrahimgil, whose mother is a musician, released the song "I see clouds rain is coming" when she was a child. While going to middle school,she started his first instrument training with piano and later learned jazz guitar. Towards the end of middle school, he started working as a copywriter at an advertising agency in his spare time.

After graduating from Boğaziçi University in the early 2000s, she continued to work in the advertising industry and crowned her work by winning the Crystal Apple Award. She composed the commercials for many big brands, and even after an advertisement she started to be called "Free Girl" by Turkish people.

She released her first album, Nil Dünyası, in 2002. The album's tracks "XL", "Rüzgâr" and "Cake" managed to attract a lot of attention in pop music. Later, she released her second album, Nil FM, in 2004, and the song "Gitme Otherwise" in the album was highly appreciated by the people. In 2007, she was nominated for the best Turkish artist at the MTV Europe Music Awards.

Nil Karaibrahimgil married Sertab Erener's brother Serdar Erener in 2010 and they gave birth to a child.
