The Countdown to The Qatar World Cup Has Started!

The teams that will directly participate in the World Cup, which will be held in Qatar in the winter months, have been determined. Except for the host country, which have automatic qualification for the cup, 12 teams have their entry tickets for the World Cup in their pockets for the organization in Qatar.

The World Cup, which is scheduled to take place in Qatar from 21 November to 18 December 2022, will be held in winter instead of summer for the first time in history due to the high temperature.

In addition to the host Qatar, which have an automatic spot, 2 teams from South America and 10 teams from Europe qualified for the World Cup. 3 more teams from the European continent will participate in the organization, in which 32 teams comprised of 8 groups of 4 teams each will compete. For Turkey to be among these teams, they must win two games in the play-offs.

Which teams qualified for the World Cup?

Brazil and Argentina, former world champions from South America, and Germany, Belgium, Denmark, France, Croatia, Netherlands, England, Spain, Switzerland, and Serbia from the European continent are the countries that qualified directly for the World Cup to be held next year.
